The 9th President’s Merit Award
The MIED development plan for secondary education is also inclusive of awards and appreciation for those who attain academic excellence. The President’s Merit Award was inaugurated 9 years ago to recognize Indian students from the higher secondary schools for their outstanding academic performance.
The award augments the culture of learning in the community. Thus, both students and parents are accorded recognition at the awards ceremony annually.
This year, the President’s Merit Award was held at the Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur on 6 June 2009.
