The Maju Institute of Educational Development (MIED) marked another significant milestone in its longstanding commitment to educational empowerment through the MIED CARE Scholarships Presentation Ceremony 2026, held on 12 October 2026 at AIMST University, Kedah.
The ceremony celebrated MIED’s continued dedication to supporting deserving students in their pursuit of higher education, particularly those facing financial challenges.
In 2026, MIED approved scholarships totalling RM12,997,811.00 for 781 students pursuing various programmes at AIMST University. This substantial investment reflects MIED’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that financial constraints do not become barriers to academic achievement and professional aspirations.
The ceremony was graced by YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri S. A. Vigneswaran, Chairman of MIED and President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), whose leadership continues to strengthen MIED’s mission of expanding educational opportunities for the Malaysian Indian community.
